SMS Sewing Club stitches "Hope for Haiti"In response to the recent devastating earthquake in Haiti, the sewing club has stitched 420 wash mitts for the 209 bars of Ivory soap that were collected by the school. Click on the link below to read about the relief effort these wash mitts supported.Each year, the sewing club also donates blankets to Birthright for babies and works on a number of individual projects as well. Sewers have completed nine patch pillows, pajama pants and are currently hard at work on fleece jackets.
