The Admissions Process
Admissions Policy
As required by Connecticut state law, for families who wish to be admitted to our Pre-Kindergarten class, your child must have reached his or her fourth birthday on or before September 1 of the respective academic year. Kindergarten admittance is dependent upon the child having reached his or her fifth birthday on or before September 1 of the respective academic year.
St. Mary’s School admits students of any race, color, nationality or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students. The school does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, or nationality and ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, athletic, or other school programs.
While St. Mary’s School does not discriminate against students with special needs, a full range of services may not always be available to them. Decisions concerning the admission and continued enrollment of a student in the school are based upon the student’s emotional, academic, and physical abilities and the resources available to the school in meeting the student’s needs.
