| Employee Giving and Matching Gifts Many corporations, both large and small, encourage employee giving to charitable organizations. St. Mary's Annual Fund benefits directly from these generous donations. Donations are often made through a payroll deduction program to make giving even easier. In a matching gift program. corporations either match contributions dollar-for-dollar or at a set percentage of your paid gift. A matching gift increases the value of your gift simply by participating in the matching program. To find out if your company participates in a matching gift program, check with your human resources department. St. Mary’s School is an eligible charity in the United Way Campaign.
